Yasmín Fletcher

Prior to joining CSGV, Yasmín worked as a Legal Fellow with the DC Public Charter School Board.

Yasmín received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Sport Administration from the University of Miami and her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to attending law school, she taught 8th grade English as a Teach For America corps member.

Yasmín’s interest in working on gun violence prevention stems from the disproportionate effect gun violence has on impoverished communities, communities of color, and youth.

A Boston native, by way of Prince George’s County, MD, Yasmín currently lives in Washington, DC and enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering with education entities and in a pro bono capacity.
