On January 12, 2015, the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence (Ed Fund) convened a gun violence prevention forum on the State Capitol grounds in Richmond, Virginia.
December 18, 2014
On December 16, 2014, the Ed Fund—in partnership with the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence—convened a gun violence prevention Forum in Chicago, Illinois. More than 75 Illinois residents attended.
November 13, 2014
On November 7, 2014 , the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence—in partnership with the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE) and United States Attorney James Santelle—convened a gun violence prevention forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The California state legislature has passed a “Gun Violence Restraining Order” bill, which arose from the recommendations of the Consortium for Risk-Based Firearms Policy, a group of mental health and public health professionals originally convened by the Ed Fund in March 2013.
